Second day at the elemetary school

Today was much better than the first. It was overcast so the working conditions were great. It had rained a little before we got there so it was way humid and we were all sweating a lot. We had a great lunch and then it was back to work for a while, and then we played a bunch of games with the kids and we came back to Herbs for some dinner (which was amazing). I really didnt want to leave the elementary school. I wish we were spending the 2 full weeks with them.

Tomorrow we will be leaving Kampala for 5 days and will be going to Ft. Portal to work with the high school. We will be staying with Idah and Henry. We met Idah tonight, and we are in good company. I am not sure when the next time I'll be able to get to a computer will be, but please keep reading!

    Otherwise you're not missing anything.. go figure.

    BUT my mom and your mom said that they're happy to know that you got there safe and that your having a good time. And my mom said she hopes your taking a lot of pictures.

R.I.P. Dirty Little Garden Lobster.....

Here's a fun story for you. Randi and I were playing Wii bowling in the basement, and my parents came home from dinner with some work people. We go upstairs to say hi and my mom turns to me and asks "Do you know why there is a lobster in our garden?" My first thought was that a neighbor put a ceramic lobster in the dirt as some sort of weird joke... you know, to see how long it took us to notice it or something..... but no. Let's Get To Know Eachother......

I'm trying to blog more often, even if my life isnt as exciting as id like to be. That being said, I'm just going to post some things about myself if I dont have anything else to talk about. Safe Travels....

I wonder if anyone even still reads this or not. Oh well. For those of you who dont know, I was not able to go back to Uganda this summer. (Its really sad and im really upset about it) However, most of the team was able to! Andy, Kevin and Glenna went out there about a week ago and the rest of the team is leaving tonight around 9:30pm. I wish you all safe travels, and most of all, have fun! I want all of you to know that I am already saving for next years trip! I already have about $100! I know, I know, its nowhere near enough, but thats why im starting now. Not being able to go this summer made me realize how much I love it there, and I guess you can say that lit a fire under my ass to get moving!
