It's been a good 5 Days......

Well, I am glad to say the past 5 days have actually been pretty decent. It feels good to finally be in a better mood and i hope it lasts a lot longer because I could definitly get used to it. Friday night, Randi and I decided to go bowling at the bowling alley where my brother works. I dont really care much for bowling, but I had a pretty good time. I had a job interview on saturday afternoon that took forever, but im hoping it goes somewhere because I thought the interview went quite well. Yesterday was really low key, but today was good too.

My phone kinda shut down last night so i was worried that i would have to replace it, but it turns out that it just needed to be reset. I dodged a bullet there! I also found out last night about a possible trip to Africa this December. I would probably be able to pull it off financially if this job comes through alright, but I am a little worried about the timing. I still want to go in June, and I dont want to be gone for the holidays...... im pretty sure that my family would disown me if i missed Christmas. But Africa twice in one year? I think that would be just what i need. Lets not forget that Brenna and I are still planning on going to Europe sometime next summer. I hope that i can juggle my finances enough to be able to make this happen.

Also today Jess contacted me and said shes going to be in the area on friday and wants to get together. I havent seen her in forever and im really excited to be able to catch up.

R.I.P. Dirty Little Garden Lobster.....

Here's a fun story for you. Randi and I were playing Wii bowling in the basement, and my parents came home from dinner with some work people. We go upstairs to say hi and my mom turns to me and asks "Do you know why there is a lobster in our garden?" My first thought was that a neighbor put a ceramic lobster in the dirt as some sort of weird joke... you know, to see how long it took us to notice it or something..... but no. I'm trying to blog more often, even if my life isnt as exciting as id like to be. That being said, I'm just going to post some things about myself if I dont have anything else to talk about. Safe Travels....

I wonder if anyone even still reads this or not. Oh well. For those of you who dont know, I was not able to go back to Uganda this summer. (Its really sad and im really upset about it) However, most of the team was able to! Andy, Kevin and Glenna went out there about a week ago and the rest of the team is leaving tonight around 9:30pm. I wish you all safe travels, and most of all, have fun! I want all of you to know that I am already saving for next years trip! I already have about $100! I know, I know, its nowhere near enough, but thats why im starting now. Not being able to go this summer made me realize how much I love it there, and I guess you can say that lit a fire under my ass to get moving!
